Economic Crime Damage in Russia Exceeds 266.2 Billion Rubles in Less Than a Year

In the first ten months of 2025, the damage from economic crimes in Russia amounted to 266.2 billion rubles, which is the highest value since 2023, according to data from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported by TASS. Compared to the same period last year, the number of economic crimes detected by law enforcement agencies decreased by only 0.5%, to 88,700 crimes. Of these, 68.7% were serious and particularly serious economic crimes.
