Mishustin gave a number of instructions on the development of the fishery complex in Russia

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the relevant ministries to prepare proposals aimed at increasing the procurement and transportation of fish products and other goods, following a meeting with the President and members of the Government on the development of the fisheries sector. Among the measures, the ministries are tasked with preparing proposals to increase the procurement of fish products for state and municipal needs, including school meals and healthcare. Additionally, in collaboration with Russian Railways (RZD) and the Far Eastern regions, the ministries will work on increasing the volume of fish transportation by rail from the Far Eastern Federal District to central Russia. Transportation of fish products along the Northern Sea Route will be carried out in cooperation with the state corporation Rosatom. It was also decided to enhance the efficiency of fishing in the Caspian Sea. Special attention was given to the Kamchatka region, where, together with the Krylov State Research Center, an analysis will be conducted to determine the need for improving hydraulic engineering facilities at shipbuilding enterprises involved in the construction and repair of fishing vessels.
