Senators Approve Law Simplifying Tax Registration Procedure for Foreign Companies

The Federation Council has approved a law simplifying the procedure for registering foreign companies with tax authorities. Recall, the State Duma adopted it the day before.

"«The law simplifies the procedure for registering a foreign organization with a tax authority in connection with the opening of a bank account by it»," explained Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets, Andrey Epishin.

The law comes into force on September 1, 2026. According to it, foreign organizations no longer need to apply to the tax authorities in order to register when opening a bank account.
