The Federation Council has increased the annual tariff for insurance companies for the services of the operator of the automated insurance information system for providing information. The senators adopted amendments to the Federal Law "On the Organization of Insurance Business in the Russian Federation". Thus, according to Mukharbi Ulbashev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets, the tariff has increased from 0.4% to 1%. “This law is aimed at ensuring the operation of the automated insurance information system. The tariff for insurance companies for these purposes increases from 0.4% to 1% of the annual insurance premium for compulsory motor insurance,” the senator commented.
