In Russia, the time required to find a job has decreased to 5.1 months, which is a record since the start of statistics collection. This information is reported by RIA Novosti, citing data from Rosstat.

Statistics on the average duration of job search have been collected by the agency since 2009. At that time, unemployed Russians spent an average of 7.4 months looking for work. In the following decade, this indicator remained around seven to eight months, and after 2023, job placement took less than six months.

It is noted that the average duration of job search for men is lower than for women. According to data for September 2025, men needed 4.6 months to find a job, while women required 5 months.
