Igor Maslov is leaving the post of head of the Presidential Office for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign countries. The decree on his dismissal from this post was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, at the end of August 2025, the Office for Interregional and Cultural Relations with foreign countries was abolished by presidential decree. The Office for Cross-Border Cooperation was also abolished. Instead of the previous two, a new office for strategic Partnership and cooperation was created.
