The Cabinet of Ministers extended the possibility of concluding agreements on the stabilization of food prices until the end of 2029

Until December 31, 2029, the possibility of concluding voluntary agreements with business entities to reduce and not raise prices for socially important goods has been extended. The relevant decision was made by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The decision was made in order to maintain a stable situation in the consumer market. The current regulation governing the conclusion of price stabilization agreements expires in May 2026.

It was noted that currently, according to the FAS, agreements on price stabilization have been concluded in 71 regions with the participation of more than 14.5 thousand business entities, including 292 manufacturers, 51 wholesale organizations, 14.1 thousand trade organizations, 100 pharmacy chains and points, 3 gas stations.
