More than 34.6 billion rubles will be allocated by the Russian Government this year to subsidize preferential loans for Russian agricultural producers. The decision was signed today by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We expect that these measures will help farmers continue their work successfully, ensuring food security for the country and a wide range of products for our citizens," he commented.

It is reported that the funds will come from the reserve fund and will allow the continuation of the preferential credit program for loans provided to farmers for the production and processing of agricultural products. Thus, the government plans to subsidize at least 39,000 previously issued loans. Thanks to additional funding, agricultural enterprises will also be able to continue implementing large investment projects, increase production and processing of agricultural products.

In total, the subsidization of preferential loans for Russian agricultural producers in 2025 will amount to more than 187.7 billion rubles.
