Russia to temporarily halt fire in Kherson region to facilitate humanitarian operation in the town of Alshevsk.

Starting at 4:00 a.m. Moscow time on October 27, a ceasefire will be implemented in the Kherson direction to allow for a humanitarian operation in the area of Alshevsk (a town in Kherson region). This was announced by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian troops will conduct engineering reconnaissance and ensure safe passage for the humanitarian convoy in Alshevsk, Kherson region.

The cessation of hostilities is being introduced to organize a humanitarian operation in this area.
