### Russian Air Defense Intercepts 560 Ukrainian Drones Overnight Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 560 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) between 8:00 PM on October 9 and 8:00 AM on October 10, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were detected over 17 regions, including Moscow and the Republic of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014 and internationally recognized as part of Ukraine). Additionally, UAVs were intercepted over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The Ministry clarified that air defense units were active throughout the night.
