Driving Licenses Expired in October 2023 Invalid from October

Driving licenses in Russia that expired in October 2023 and were automatically extended are now invalid, according to the Russian Interior Ministry (MVD), as reported by TASS.

These licenses cannot be used from October 1, 2026.

The ministry urged drivers to replace their documents. Using expired licenses could result in fines ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles ($50 to $150).
