Patriot Park Director Vasilyev Accused of Taking $18 Million Bribe: Media Reports

Igor Vasilyev, the CEO of Patriot Park, is suspected of receiving a bribe in an especially large amount, reportedly totaling 18 million rubles, according to a source in law enforcement cited by TASS.
The source noted that the alleged bribe amount corresponds to an especially large size. However, no official charges have been brought against Vasilyev so far.
In the near future, a court will determine his pre-trial detention measures.
The criminal case also involves other leaders of Patriot Park. Earlier, the court ordered the arrest of Sergey Fedosov, the first deputy CEO of the institution, and Alexey Pavlyukov, deputy director for operations. Fedosov is charged with fraud in an especially large amount, while Pavlyukov is accused of receiving a bribe in an especially large amount.
Another defendant in the case, Evgeniy Marieyev, was placed under house arrest by the court.
Igor Vasilyev took over as head of Patriot Park in spring 2026. Prior to this, he served as governor of Kirov region.
His predecessor, Vyacheslav Akhmedov, left the position after a criminal case was opened. In 2025, the Odintsovo City Court of Moscow Region sentenced him to five years in a general regime penal colony and a fine of 300,000 rubles.
Akhmedov was found guilty of fraud in an especially large amount and official falsification. He fully admitted his guilt and entered into a pre-trial agreement to cooperate with the investigation.
