Over 645 Drones Neutralized Over Russian Regions and Two Seas in Single Night

Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 645 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The attack lasted from 8:00 PM Moscow time on September 25 to 8:00 AM on September 26. The drones were detected over several Russian regions as well as the Black and Azov Seas.

The Ministry specified that air defense systems were active over Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, and Tula regions, Moscow and its surrounding area, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, and Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014).
