Drone Attack in Voronezh Injures 13 People

The number of injured in a night drone attack on Voronezh region has risen to 13, according to regional governor Alexander Gusev.

Among the victims is a 6-year-old child who received medical assistance on-site. Two adults — a woman born in 1963 and a man born in 2001 — are in intensive care. Another person has been hospitalized, and one is undergoing examination. The rest of the injured did not require hospitalization.

Earlier, Gusev reported four injured directly in Voronezh city. Two women with moderate shrapnel wounds were taken to hospitals, while two men received medical assistance on-site.

Gusev assured that all victims will receive necessary medical and other assistance.

According to Gusev, last night duty air defense forces detected and destroyed 88 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Voronezh city and at least six districts of the region.

In Voronezh itself, ongoing inspections and damage assessments are being conducted. Preliminary reports indicate that fragments of drones have damaged facades and windows in several residential and private homes. Several cars have also been damaged.

Additionally, debris from the drones has damaged several non-residential and industrial facilities. In some cases, falling fragments led to fires.

After emergency and operational services complete their work, specialists will begin repairing the damaged objects.

Large amounts of drone debris have been found in various parts of the city. Residents have been urged not to approach or attempt to move the fragments themselves.
