Russia Says 297 Ukrainian Drones Shot Down Over Regions

During the night of September 22, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 297 Ukrainian drones, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Smolensk, Tambov, Ulyanovsk regions and the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Ukraine but annexed by Russia in 2014).
