### Russian Air Defense Intercepts 629 Ukrainian Drones Overnight Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 629 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night of September 18, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The drones were shot down over the territories of Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula regions, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow region, the Republic of Adygea, Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
