Brent Crude Hits $100 per Barrel for First Time Since July 24

Brent crude oil prices surged above $100 per barrel on September 9th, according to data from the London-based ICE Futures exchange.

During trading, the November futures contract for Brent crude rose by 2.19%, reaching $100.06 per barrel. This is the first time prices have hit this level since July 24th.

Meanwhile, the October futures contract for WTI crude oil increased by 1.77%, reaching $94.68 per barrel.
