Russian AI Market Expected to Reach 760-770 Billion Rubles by 2030

By the end of 2025, the AI market in Russia, measured by corporate spending on its implementation, reached 257 billion rubles ($3.2 billion). By 2030, this figure is expected to grow to 760-770 billion rubles ($9.5-9.6 billion), according to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, as reported by Interfax.

Grigorenko emphasized that market growth will depend on "demand generation," noting that companies currently exhibit "a certain conservatism."

"We have quite impressive offerings on the market today, related to services and solutions using domestic AI models. However, demand does not always keep up with these offerings because there is a certain conservatism, uncertainty, and questions from the market: if I pay for using AI, what immediate effect will it have?" Grigorenko explained.
