Russian President, Azerbaijani Leader Discuss Bilateral Relations

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, according to the Kremlin website.

Putin and Aliyev discussed topical issues related to bilateral and international agendas.

"The leaders noted the constructive nature of Russian-Azerbaijani relations and the intensification of dialogue between governments and relevant departments," the Kremlin press service said in a statement.

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
