### Russian Region of Belgorod Hit by 153 Attacks in Single Day
The Russian region of Belgorod was targeted by 153 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours, according to Alexander Shuvalov, the acting governor of the region.
The attacks affected Belgorod city as well as Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Graivoronsky, Ivnyansky, Korochansky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Prokhorovsky, Rakityansky, Shebekinsky, and Yakovlevsky districts.
Seven strikes were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems and artillery. Additionally, Ukrainian forces dropped explosive devices from drones twice. Russian air defense systems neutralized and suppressed 183 drones.
Shuvalov described the past day as one of the most severe for the region, highlighting an unprecedented number of civilian casualties. Eight people, including a child, were killed in Belgorod, Belgorodsky, and Shebekinsky districts. Additionally, the identity of a man who died on July 19 was confirmed, bringing the total number of fatalities for the day to nine.
Furthermore, a woman who sustained severe injuries during a drone attack on Belgorodsky district on July 11 died in the hospital.
Seventy-seven people, including a minor, were injured in the attacks. Injured individuals were reported in Belgorod, Belgorodsky, Graivoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Prokhorovsky, Rakityansky, and Shebekinsky districts. Some of the injured are in critical condition.
All victims are receiving necessary medical care, with the treatment of the injured being personally monitored by the regional leader.
