Brent crude oil prices surpassed the $90 per barrel mark on July 20, according to data from the London-based ICE Futures Exchange.
During trading, Brent prices rose by 3.29%, reaching $91 per barrel. This is the highest price for this grade of oil since June 11.
Meanwhile, August futures for WTI crude oil increased by 3.02%, reaching $84.29 per barrel.
The price movements are attributed to the escalation of the military conflict between the U.S. and Iran.
