The criminal trial of former editor-in-chief of the Telegram channel Baza, Gleb Trifonov, and producer Tatyana Lukyanova will be held behind closed doors. This decision was made by the Savelyevsky District Court in Moscow, according to Kommersant.
The trial was closed to the press at the request of the state prosecutor, who argued that disclosing information contained in the case materials could pose a threat to the safety of those involved in the trial.
Trifonov and Lukyanova are accused of bribing police officers from Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, and Belgorod in exchange for information. Both Baza employees have admitted their guilt.
