Starting July 10, 2026, Russia will introduce a modernized 100-ruble banknote into circulation, the Central Bank of Russia has announced.

The new banknote celebrates the Central Federal District. The front side features a segment of the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin with its famous clock (the Kremlin Chimes). On the reverse side, the Rzhev Memorial to the Soviet Soldier is depicted, along with a stylized map of the district. The predominant colors of the banknote are olive and orange.
