Russia significantly increased its gasoline imports from Belarus in June, reaching a record high since data collection began, according to Vedomosti.

From June 1 to 25, Russia imported 141,000 tons of gasoline from Belarus, which is 2.4 times more than the total amount imported in May.

For comparison, in June 2025, imports were minimal at about 1,000 tons.

The surge in Russian imports was accompanied by a reduction in Belarusian fuel exports to other markets. Specifically, Belarus redirected gasoline volumes previously destined for Central Asian countries to Russia.
