UK adds Yandex Bank, WB Bank and Rosgosstrakh to sanctions list

British authorities have expanded their anti-Russian sanctions list by adding 43 new entries. The measures now include Rosgosstrakh, a major Russian insurance company, as well as the subsidiary banks of tech giant Yandex (Yandex Bank) and e-commerce platform Wildberries (WB Bank).

The updated sanctions also target 27 vessels allegedly linked to Russia, including three LNG tankers. Additionally, companies from China, Thailand, and Turkey have been added to the sanctions list.
