Unmanned aerial vehicles struck residential areas in the suburbs of Tula, Russia, in the night of June 15, resulting in three fatalities and injuries to three others, including an infant, according to preliminary reports.
Governor Dmitry Milyayev stated that several populated areas were targeted, leading to damage to private homes and various commercial facilities.
The injured, including a one-year-old child, were promptly transported to medical facilities and are receiving necessary care. The governor expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Emergency and operational services, as well as regional government and municipal administration officials, are on site. An operational headquarters has been established in the regional government to coordinate efforts. The situation is under control by the authorities.
