One killed, 11 injured in drone attack on bus in Belgorod region

On June 11, a civilian woman was killed and 11 others were injured in an attack by a Ukrainian military drone in the Belgorod region of Russia, according to the regional operational headquarters.

The incident took place in the village of Voznesenovka, Shebekinsky Municipal District, where a passenger bus was struck by a drone. A woman on board sustained fatal injuries and died before medical help arrived.

Eleven victims were taken to Shebekinsky Central District Hospital. Two men and five women suffered shrapnel wounds and bruises in various parts of their bodies. Four others sustained acoustic-barotrauma injuries. All victims are receiving necessary medical care.

The bus was also damaged in the attack.
