Drone Strike on Moscow-Simferopol Train Kills One Person

Sergey Aksenov, Head of the Republic of Crimea, reported on an incident that occurred in the night of June 8 involving a train traveling from Moscow, the capital of Russia, to Simferopol.

Preliminary information indicates that a drone operated by Ukrainian terrorist groups attacked the locomotive pulling a passenger train. The strike resulted in tragic consequences — one of the people on board sustained fatal injuries.

The incident was confirmed by an official representative. Aksenov stated that details of the incident are still being clarified, but it is already known that one person died as a result of the attack.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident and the condition of the other passengers.
