Baltic Leasing Issues Bonds Worth 2.2 Billion Rubles

Baltic Leasing, a leading Russian leasing company, has successfully issued 2.2 billion rubles worth of exchange-traded bonds (series BO-P24) at their nominal value.

A total of 2.2 million bonds, each with a face value of 1,000 rubles, were issued through an open subscription. The bonds have a circulation period of 10 years and 1 month, but the issuer has decided to redeem them early on the completion date of the 36th coupon period (in 3 years). The coupon period is 30 days. The repayment of the nominal value will be carried out in amortization installments: 33% at the payment dates of the 12th and 24th coupons, and 34% at the payment date of the 36th coupon.

The coupon rate for the entire circulation period was set at 18% per annum following the results of the bid collection.

The planned issue volume was increased from a minimum of 500 million rubles to 2.2 billion rubles.

The organizer and placement agent for the issue was Sinar Bank.

An overview of the issue was presented by Alexey Grishchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor at the Department of Operational and Sectoral Management of the Faculty of "Higher School of Management" at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
