MICEX Index Up 0.1% at 2615 Points in Wednesday Trading Session

On Wednesday, at the market opening, the MICEX Index rose by 0.1% and is trading at 2615 basis points.

The most liquid stocks are showing the following trading dynamics:

- Lukoil -0.8%;

- Gazprom -0.6%;

- Sberbank -0.4%;

- Rosneft +0.7%.

It is worth noting that the MICEX Index (Moscow Exchange Index) is a price indicator of the Russian stock market. It is formed based on the market capitalization of free-floating shares and includes highly liquid securities of large and dynamically growing Russian companies.

The composite stock index of the Moscow Exchange is calculated based on prices weighted by market capitalization, taking into account free-float, of the most liquid stocks of Russian companies. The index composition and weight are reviewed quarterly.
