Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government, in coordination with the Federal Security Service (FSB), to adopt additional measures to ensure the stable operation of key internet services amid potential network access restrictions related to security concerns.

The directive was issued following a meeting between the president and cabinet members. According to the document, authorities must guarantee the uninterrupted functioning of digital platforms that are critical for citizens and the state.

Services that must remain operational include healthcare systems, the state services portal, payment infrastructure, and other essential information resources.

Special attention is to be given to ensuring user access to these services even during periods of restrictive measures in information and telecommunication networks.

The government and FSB are expected to report back to the president on the progress of these measures by July 1.
