The Russian government has approved temporary restrictions on the export of mineral fertilizers, which will be in effect from June 1 to November 30. The measure aims to maintain stable domestic supplies and meet the needs of the agricultural sector, feed manufacturers, and other key industries.

Under the decision, the total permitted export volume will amount to 20 million tons. This includes over 8.7 million tons of nitrogen fertilizers, more than 4.2 million tons of ammonium nitrate, and over 7 million tons of complex (compound) products.

However, certain shipments are exempt from these restrictions. Quotas do not apply to exports to Abkhazia and South Ossetia (regions with limited international recognition), transit shipments through Russian territory, and international humanitarian aid.
