Brent Crude Surpasses $100 per Barrel for First Time Since April 13

Brent crude oil prices surged above $100 per barrel, according to data from the London-based ICE Futures exchange.

By the end of trading on April 21 (at 23:15 Moscow time), the price of the June Brent futures contract rose by 5.2%, reaching $100.7 per barrel. This is the first time such a high price has been recorded since April 13.

Meanwhile, the price of the June WTI crude oil futures contract increased by 2.83%, reaching $92.21 per barrel.

By the morning of April 22 (at 08:06 Moscow time), the price of Brent crude slowed its growth, dropping to $98.35 per barrel (-0.8%).
