Indonesia plans to start importing Russian oil this month, according to Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Arifin Tasrif (the name Bahdili Lahadalia was misreported earlier), as reported by Tempo.

Additionally, the Indonesian government is looking to purchase liquefied hydrocarbon gases from Russia. The exact volumes of these deliveries are still being negotiated.

Furthermore, discussions are underway for joint investments with Russia in constructing refineries and oil storage facilities in Indonesia.

"We need one or two more rounds of negotiations to finalize the agreement, especially regarding refineries and storage facilities," Arifin Tasrif stated.
