Putin Approves Increase in Russian Armed Forces Personnel to 2.39 Million

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree adjusting the personnel strength of the Russian Armed Forces. According to the document, the total number of personnel in the Russian Armed Forces (RF AF) now stands at 2,391,770. The presidential decree was published on the legal acts portal.

The document states that the number of military personnel has been increased by 2,640 individuals, reaching a total of 1,502,640. Previously, this figure was at 1.5 million.
