The size of presidential grants allocated to cultural and arts institutions has been indexed by 4%. The increased funding will take effect from 2026.

Each year, 108 leading organizations across the country receive support - from major theaters and creative ensembles to specialized educational institutions. These include universities that train specialists in music, theater, fine arts, choreography, cinematography, architecture, and literary creation.

After the indexation, the total funding amount will exceed 9.3 billion rubles. The funds will be directed towards supporting key cultural institutions and retaining professional staff in the sector.
