### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Over 200 Ukrainian Drones in Massive Nighttime Attack
In the early hours of March 29, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted a large-scale drone attack, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Duty crews of the air defense forces neutralized 203 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type.
Intercepts were carried out simultaneously across multiple regions of the country. The drones were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Kaluga, Tula, and Smolensk regions.
Additional air targets were eliminated over the Moscow region, Tver, Pskov, Novgorod, and Leningrad regions.
Attacks were also recorded in southern and Volga regions, including Rostov, Saratov, Samara, Penza, and Volgograd regions. Drones were also intercepted over Krasnodar territory and the Republic of Crimea (a region claimed by Russia but internationally recognized as part of Ukraine). Some air targets were intercepted over the Black Sea.
Emergency and operational services are now working at the sites where the drones fell.
