Gas prices in Europe jumped by 20% immediately after the start of trading on March 2nd, amidst the military operation conducted by the U.S. and Israel against Iran, according to data from the London-based ICE exchange reported by TASS.

During the trading session, the price of a gas futures contract for delivery in April 2026 reached nearly $470 per 1,000 cubic meters, equivalent to €38.67 per MWh.
