By 2026, prices for Chinese smartphones in Russia may increase by 15-30% (depending on the brand, model line, and internal memory capacity), according to reports cited by "Известия."
According to industry sources, Chinese smartphone manufacturers informed Russian retail outlets about their pricing plans as early as February. It is expected that devices at the new prices will hit the Russian market in March-April.
The price hike is attributed to rising component costs, particularly those related to memory. The most significant price increases are anticipated for mid- and high-end models, where memory constitutes a larger portion of the total production cost compared to other components.
