National currency strengthens by 0.2% against major currency pairs

The national currency is strengthening within 0.2% against major currency pairs.

On the interbank market, the ruble against the Chinese currency CNY/RUB is trading at 11.63 rubles per yuan on Thursday.

The currency pair USD/RUB is trading at 82.78 rubles per US dollar, while EUR/RUB is quoted at 96.71 rubles per euro.

It is worth noting that since June 13, 2024, the exchange rates for the US dollar (USD/RUB) and euro (EUR/RUB) have been determined based on information from bank transactions, operations on digital platforms, and the over-the-counter market. At the same time, the Chinese yuan rate (CNY/RUB) is calculated exclusively based on transactions concluded on the Moscow Exchange.

Data on conducted operations is formed from the following sources:

- Results of trading on the currency market of the Moscow Exchange;

- Information on transactions provided by banks;

- Data from digital platforms of the over-the-counter market;

- If data is missing in the above sources, the rate remains at the level of the previous day.
