212 Additional Transport Inspection Points to Be Set Up Near Crimean Bridge

Permanent radiometric complexes have been deployed on the road approaches to the Crimean Bridge from both sides - from Taman and from Kerch. The technical capabilities of these systems allow for vehicle inspection with high throughput - up to 1,150 cars per hour.

In connection with the expected increase in traffic during the New Year holidays, measures to protect the bridge and ensure traffic safety will be enhanced. According to the report, 212 additional checkpoints will be added to the already operating control points.

These measures, according to the responsible services, will allow for the organization of safe and uninterrupted traffic flow. The total daily capacity of the control system will increase and amount to up to 17,520 cars per day.

The enhanced control is aimed at preventing possible threats and minimizing delays for passenger and freight transport during mass travel days.
