Russian military groupings "Vostok" have broken through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VAF) in the Zaporozhye region and are advancing at a rapid pace. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference following his visit to Bishkek.

According to the Russian leader, the Russian Armed Forces have approached Gulyaipole, Volchansk is almost completely under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) and Dimitrov are completely surrounded, and in Seversk, Russian troops have occupied 1,700 buildings out of 8,000.

"The advance of Russian fighters in the Zaporozhye direction can lead to the collapse of the front," Putin noted.
