The government intends to allocate more than 1.4 billion rubles additionally for subsidized air transportation. This concerns special fare air tickets, which Russians under the age of 23, women over 55, men over 60, as well as first group disabled individuals, disabled children, and large families can benefit from. The subsidy program covers 82 routes, including flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and others. "Our country has many places that can be reached practically only by air. The availability of air transport is important for every person who lives or works there," commented Mikhail Mishustin on the decision.
