On November 8 at 7:40 am, an entrance of a multi-story residential building collapsed in the village of Kurkino, Tula region, according to "Tula News". The press service of the Tula Investigative Committee reports that a criminal case has been initiated. Investigators and forensic experts are currently working at the scene. The head of the investigative department, Vladimir Ussov, is overseeing the situation. Rescue services are also continuing their work at the site. The rubble of collapsed concrete structures is being cleared. Later, the Governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyayev, reported that the number of victims from the explosion in the house in Kurkino village has increased to four people. Another local resident sought medical help and was sent to Yeufremov hospital. In addition, the Prosecutor of Kurkino district, Dmitry Machalin, arrived at the scene, overseeing the investigation and coordinating the actions of law enforcement agencies. The head of the regional police department, Andrey Datsenko, also arrived at the scene. According to "Tula News", two gas service employees were injured in the explosion at the residential building on Lenin Street in Kurkino.
