Starting from November 18, the St. Petersburg Exchange will launch futures trading on shares of five Russian companies, according to the trading platform.
Participants will have access to shares of Sberbank, VTB, T-Technologies, Yandex, and Lukoil. Settlement for the new futures will be conducted in rubles. The contract size will correspond to one share. Contract expiration will be weekly on Thursdays, with settlement taking place on the next trading day.
The St. Petersburg Exchange launched futures trading in October. Investors were given access to futures on the indices of Brazil, India, China, Saudi Arabia, Bitcoin and Ethereum indices, as well as shares of the St. Petersburg Exchange itself.
