During his visit to an adaptive sports center in Samara, he reacted positively to a request from Ekaterina Leshinskaya, head of the "Healthy Fatherland" movement, noting the positive experience of bans in other countries. Putin emphasized the importance not only of the ban itself but also of working with young people on this issue.
