The Ministry of Energy expects a record summer tourist season in the Russian Federation

The 2025 summer tourist season in Russia may become a record-breaking one. This positive forecast was voiced by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov at a meeting of the president with members of the government.

According to Reshetnikov, according to the results of the first two months of the season (May-June), the volume of tourist trips in Russia is 10% higher than last year. During this time, Russians and foreign visitors made 16.5 million trips. In June, the flow of foreign tourists increased by 18% year-on-year.

In addition to the traditional leaders of Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Black Sea coast, Crimea and Tatarstan, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Nizhny Novgorod and Tver regions demonstrated active growth.
