A fire in a nine-storey building in Moscow, where two people died, was preceded by an explosion

An explosion followed by a fire occurred in a nine-storey building in the south-west of Moscow. The fact of the explosion is reported by TASS.

Rescuers are fighting a fire on General Tyulenev Street in Moscow. The fire broke out on the ninth floor of building 39, two apartments on the 8th and 9th floors were engulfed in flames. Two deaths are reported. They were found on the balcony.

Rescuers evacuated the residents.

6 people were injured. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated people from neighboring entrances. Temporary accommodation facilities have been set up for them. Extinguishing continues," the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow reported.
