China entered the TOP 3 potato suppliers to Russia

For the first time since 2019, China has entered the TOP 3 potato suppliers to Russia, RIA Novosti informs, citing data from the UN Comtrade platform, national statistical portals and open data.

Belarus took the first place in terms of supplies in 2024 with an indicator of 193.8 thousand tons. Egypt is in second place - 75.3 thousand tons. China shipped 46.7 thousand tons to Russia last year. The growth of imports from China increased 5-fold.

Imports from other countries are also increasing. From Armenia, this figure increased 805 times over the year to 116 tons. From Turkey - 47 times to 24 tons.
