The Cabinet of Ministers approved the rules for the payment of 80 thousand rubles to veterans by Victory Day

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the rules for a one-time payment provided for WWII veterans on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory. The corresponding is published on the portal of legal acts.

According to the document, Russian citizens permanently residing both in the territory of the Russian Federation and in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transnistria can count on payments.

The payment to veterans, their widows, and young concentration camp prisoners will amount to 80 thousand rubles. Home front workers and a number of other categories of veterans - 55 thousand rubles.

The lump sum payment will be made in April-May 2025.
